Tips for Using our Parent Apps
ParentSquare Communications
Our district uses ParentSquare for school and athletic communications, primarily with email, text, and app notifications, but also with phone calls. ParentSquare automatically syncs with Synergy, Student Information System, to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences for when and how they are notified.

ParentVue Academics & Absence Tool
ParentVUE is a secure, all-in-one web portal and mobile app that connects parents to their child’s school. It provides near real-time information on academics and attendance.
Key Features
- Grade Book & Report Cards: View current grades, check score breakdowns for individual assignments, track missing work, and view end-of-semester report cards.
- Attendance Tracking: Monitor daily attendance and see if any tardy marks or absences were marked as excused or unexcused.
- Teacher Communication: Easily message or email your child's teachers directly through the portal without needing to search for their individual contact information. Receive regular progress reports for your child’s classes.
- Absence Reporting: Submit notifications to the school to excuse your student's upcoming or recent absences.
- Enrollment & Updates: Review and update personal contact information, emergency contacts, and student health records. Use the OLR-Online Registration Portal to annually to complete the back-to-school registration process.
